Place both in a packed city street at night with blurred people, warm street lamps and cool shop-window light behind them. Handheld phone-camera feel at chest height, slightly low angle. View generation recordThe check one check two AI trend is usually one person leaning into a phone camera at night, opening with "check one, check two" and rapping hard while the crowd reacts. On TikTok it also goes by the check one check two filter or the JME rap filter. These three check one check two rap samples keep that energy and split it between two people: Photo 1 takes the mic, Photo 2 bounces at the shoulder and hypes every line.
All three clips were generated on this site from portraits of original adult characters: a packed night street, a small rehearsal room with one mic on a stand, and a late-night house-party kitchen. Open Prompt & output settings under any card to read the full check one check two rap direction, then press Try this duo to load the same portraits and prompt into the studio and swap in your own photos.
Make a check one check two AI clip in four steps
Add the rapper's photo as Photo 1, the friend's as Photo 2, keep the Mic Check Duo prompt, then generate and add the sound when you post.
Photo 1: the one who raps
Pick a clear, front-facing photo of the person who should lean into the lens. One face, even light and a visible mouth give the check one check two filter look a stable face when the camera gets close.
Photo 2: the friend who hypes
Upload the friend as Photo 2. They stay on the right, nodding, pointing and reacting. Different jackets or hair make it easier to keep the two people apart in a check one check two rap.
Keep or edit the mic-check prompt
The studio opens with the Mic Check Duo direction already filled in: night crowd, handheld phone feel, a quick chest tap like a mic check, then sharp hand chops on the beat. Change the place or the moves in plain words, and keep Photo 1 left and Photo 2 right.
Generate, download, add the sound
Press Create this duo. The credit cost shows on the button before you start. When the video is ready, download the MP4 and add the TikTok sound when you post, as shown further down this page.
Where does check one check two AI come from?
It comes from JME's "Yo, check one, check two" verse in GRM Daily's 2017 Boy Better Know freestyle, which became an AI filter on TikTok in October 2026.
GRM Daily posts the Boy Better Know freestyle with Skepta, JME, Frisco and Jammer. JME opens his verse with a mic check.
A TikTok lip-sync to the verse, tagged #jmefreestyle and #grime, passes 600K likes.
“Check One, Check Two” by Luke Dean, Locky and JME is released on streaming services.
A “Check one check two filter” CapCut template post spreads on TikTok, with UK creators rapping straight into the lens.
Who is JME?
JME is Jamie Adenuga, a grime MC and producer from Tottenham in North London, active since the early 2000s. He is Skepta's younger brother and co-founded the crew and label Boy Better Know. The jme check one check two line opens his part of "BOY BETTER KNOW FREESTYLE SKEPTA, JME, FRISCO & JAMMER | GRM GOLD", uploaded by GRM Daily on January 12, 2017.
The 2026 single with the same name
"Check One, Check Two" by Luke Dean, Locky and JME came out on July 10, 2026. It is a different track from the 2017 freestyle, which is why a search for the jme check one check two sound can return two results. The check one check two filter uses the freestyle verse.
The verse was a TikTok sound before the AI version: a lip-sync tagged #jmefreestyle reached about 629K likes in June 2025. Around October 19, 2026 a check 1 check 2 CapCut template post spread, mostly from UK creators putting friends and famous faces into the clip. Last checked 2026-10-25.
Who to make check one check two AI with
Pick the person who'd never rap as Photo 1 and the loudest friend as Photo 2 — that contrast is the joke.
Two friends
Use the quiet one as the rapper and the group-chat hype man as Photo 2. The night-crowd prompt suits a check one check two rap between mates; two waist-up photos with different jackets work best.
A couple
Give the verse to whoever usually films the other. The kitchen-party prompt keeps it warm: one holds a phone like a mic, the other laughs and claps on the beat.
Your dad or a sibling
A serious dad in a polo shirt rapping a check one check two verse is the strongest version of the joke. Use his clearest front-facing photo as Photo 1 and a sibling grinning as Photo 2, with the rehearsal-room prompt.
Just you

When the mouth and sound drift
Generated clips never include JME's recording, so the timing depends on where you start the sound. If the mouth looks late, trim a fraction of a second from the start; if the face changes when a hand passes, regenerate with smaller gestures and a sharper Photo 1.
